Hi! My name is Kurt Kopczynski, and I am the founder and Broker of Oak Story Realty. We at Oak Story believe that “every house tells a story, and every story starts at home”. This isn’t some fancy motto that my wife and I came up with, but rather a deep-seeded belief that your home really is the stage for your best stories and a place from where you can live out your values and build a lasting legacy.
Speaking of stories, I didn’t know mine would end up with me in Real Estate, but I truly love what I do and believe my varied background – residential/commercial construction, oil & gas project management, and sales at a marketing agency - strengthens my knowledge and service to clients. With every transaction, I use so much of what I’ve learned in those industries to make your experience with Oak Story top-notch and set apart.
Currently, my family and I live in Meadows Place, a suburb of Houston, but I grew up in the Champions area and have lived all over the city (Sugar Land, The Woodlands, The Energy Corridor, and even the heart of Downtown) – giving me unique insight into many market areas to best serve my clients. I love Houston and its surrounding areas and enjoy helping clients discover new parts of town or plant roots in areas they already love.
My beautiful wife, Stacie, owns Oak Story Design and together we have designed and flipped many homes together. Yes, we still like each other at the end of projects and love working together, whenever possible J. Stacie and I met at Texas A&M University, where we both graduated in 2008 and got married a week later.
We currently live in a custom home that Stacie designed from the ground up and share the house with our 2 beautiful daughters, my “mini-me” son, and our 10-year-old chow-mix, Maddie.
